PSF‐0.65cSt HMDS Silicone Fluid is a low viscosity
TIOFORM LF22
(CAS#107‐46‐0)with a viscosity of 0.65cSt @25°C. The fluid is clear, colorless and essentiallyodorless. PSF‐0.65cSt possesses the fastest evaporation rateof all silicone fluids, the highest compressibility,the lowestviscosity, and the lowest surface tension. It is used in awide array of applicationsthat require a fast evaporating fluidthat possesses high Spreadability. PSF‐0.65cSt HMDSSilicone Fluid is VOC Exempt. It is an excellent carryingagent replacementfor solvent‐based formulations to attain VOCCompliancy. Unlike acetone, PSF‐0.65cSt iscompatible with the vastmajority of surfaces and will not attack plastic, rubber andvinylsurfaces. In addition, it does not have the strong odorof acetone.PSF‐0.65cSt HMDS is used as a base fluid in a number ofpersonal care products with excellentspreading and uniquevolatility characteristics. It is formulated in: skincream lotions, bathoils, suntan lotions, nail polishes,antiperspirants, deodorants, hair sprays and other beautyand haircare products.
